First things first - there is no class at Upham this week due to a wedding booking. There are several dates this year where this is occurring so please check the website!
Sambando night at The Sporting View in Southampton next Saturday from 8pm - this is going to be such a great event. Zumba with live music - what more could you want!
Yesterday I attended the FAST 2 tour with Paul Mort and have come away literally buzzing with ideas. Those that attended are like minded and knowledgeable trainers who want to take their fit camps to the next level and the information I have come away with will certainly do that. The greatest thing for me is that I have also come away with ideas to work with my personal training clients to accelerate their fat loss to the next level. To top it all off I have also come up with new workouts for classes that you are just going to love!
There are not many workshops where you come away with such a wealth of information that can be applied to every area of your business. The workshop was aimed for fit camps but with just a bit of tweaking I have my whole business up on to the next level - awesome! You guys are in for a treat because they will be the most amazing results.
As always I never roll out new workouts or dietary ideas without trialling them on yours truly first. Although we are all experts in our areas at the workshop there wasn't time to go through all the research to back up what was being discussed at the time and despite that I really do believe that what separates a great trainer from a good trainer is the ability and inclination to do your own research. Finding out the fact for yourself so you know that you have the science to demonstrate that what you are saying works - really works!
So, off to order another shedful of books and onto the research sites to find the evidence I am looking for. If I don't find the evidence then I don't roll it out - simple!
As with all the research I trial ALL the workouts and my legs are certainly feeling it this morning as I have already tested out six workouts - now the fun part and come up with the names, is 8 rounds too many?????????????
