A little bit early!

This week the blog is coming out a day early as I am on Paul Mort's workshop tomorrow and I have to say I can't wait. Paul runs highly successful boot camps getting amazing results and I am looking forward to learning from him. However, I am not convinced on all his theories and approaches and am equally looking forward to asking him some challenging questions of which I will fully report back next week!

First things first - I must offer a HUGE thank you (and a creeping apology for forgetting to put it in last week's blog) to Melissa. We all duly turned up to Upham for our Hulacise session last week only to find that the hall had been hired out for a wedding! Well, we did toy with the idea of holding the hula class in the car park but health and safety told me we really couldn't with cars going in and out! Sandra pipes up that we can use Melissa's garden - it needs to be pointed out that at this point Melissa had only just turned into the car park! Poor Melissa got a shock when she got out of her car but the picture of calm that she always is, called home and off we trooped together to do a lovely Hula class in Melissa's gorgeous garden in the morning Saturday sunshine which was just lovely. I am not sure what the neighbours must have thought of 'Boogie Nights' playing and this piece cannot end without me mentioning Melissa's rabbit. Now, I am a lover of animals but this rabbit just kept staring at me with my hoop going round and round and it has now been affectionately named 'psycho rabbit' meant in the nicest possible way. So thank you to Melissa and Sandra for thinking of it. Unfortunately Pilate's had to be postponed but not before Melissa very generously offered to let me use her garden again!

More things are changing yet again with the long awaited ZUMBA class finally coming to Chandlers Ford from 22ndOctober. I am still finalising details but so far so good and this class should be great as I have had so many requests for this area. The classes will be held at The Hilt on Hiltingbury Road, make sure you sign up for the newsletter through the website to ensure that you don't miss out on any important news. Don't forget that if you want to look the part, you can purchase Zumba tops from me as well as choice of Cd's - housework never seems so dull when you are listening to Fuego or Come Dance with Me!

The feedback from the nutrition workshop continues to be positive so thank you! I will be holding another workshop in January so if you are interested in something in particular then please let me know and I will make sure I include it. Again - if you have family, friends and/or colleagues who are interested then make sure to keep the informed or ask them to sign up to the newsletter. If you are interested in sports nutrition than I am also looking at holding a workshop specifically dedicated to this. The one thing I learnt from last weekend was that it was very hard to try and fit it all in without baffling everyone with TOO much information!

I am really looking forward to the run up to Christmas and will be holding a 4 week circuit fat blaster to replace some sections in classes to really boost the metabolism and get some serious fat burning going on prior to the big binge season - BUT - remember it doesn't have to be that way. You have a choice and ultimately YOU are responsible for YOU!

Have a brilliant week!
